FoolProofMe Partners with Saginaw Valley State University to Advance Real Financial Education in Michigan's Great Lakes Bay Region

The FoolProof Foundation welcomes Saginaw Valley State University (SVSU) as its latest Save it Forward university.

Through near-peer mentoring, Save it Forward empowers colleges and universities to promote economic equality in their schools and communities by increasing young people's critical thinking and leadership skills.

"We encourage young people to be healthy skeptics when it comes to decisions impacting their money and their wellbeing," said Dr. Lennette Coleman, Foundation President. "In today's digital world, don't we all need a dose of healthy skepticism?"

A collaboration that works: "This partnership is testament to our outreach and peer-to-peer mentoring across the community", says Mohamed Adel, Associate Director of Dow Entrepreneurship Institute at SVSU.

"This is just the beginning", says Dr. Lennette Coleman, President of the FoolProof Foundation. "Saginaw Valley State University's support has dramatically increased our impact on students throughout the region, empowering them with real financial literacy education as they enter into adulthood."
